her first album is by far the best work she's ever done......straight ahead roots blues with GREAT slide guitar work. Her later "pop" stuff doesn't do as much for me

Saw her open for Clapton they played a few songs together on slide guitars SWEET!

C'mon folks, face it, Bonnie is unquestionably pop with a R&B patina, but she does it damn well. Stop asking so much, get off the high perch, and just revel. Happy as a pig in....

Some harsh, knee jerk reactions to this artist. Could be insecurity at secretly liking music that oh my gosh was popular at one time. Or, not. I just know there are some musicians that should be appreciated for their musical talent regardless. She's one.

Well said. Like a previous comment said, a great singer in search of a great song - and this ain't it. All of her songs ain't it.

I agree with this agreement.

Not sure what I dislike about her. I won't protest others enjoyment of her music, but it does nothing for me.

This is no Angel From Montgomery. Most of the time Bonnie seems to come up just short of a great song. 3/10.

I recently saw her in concert in Atlanta. Great show, she still knows how to rock!

She did it to me thirty years ago. She still does it to me today. Um...don't tell my wife.

A true artist, a singer, a woman with so much soul it transcends her music, her lyrics.
