one of the best albums of the 90s.
and the most haunting bass sound recorded ever. even Massive attack themselves never came even near to the power they unleashed here...

West Wing. The episode where the president's daughter gets kidnapped. This song totally made the scene.

This is one of those songs I was inspired to buy immediately after hearing it on RP. So badass.

That cover always makes me recall Blue Gender - a truly chilling anime series.

Any tune used in 'Snatch' is at least a 7 with me.

A darkened room, headphones jacked up, raining outside and some homegrown to boot! A good place to be!

I have been hearing Massive Attack played on RP for the past 4 mornings. Bring it on. Time to move MA up on the ipod playlist.

This is a little different from the one I first heard on "La Femme Nikita," when Roy Dupuis (Michael) and his real-life girlfriend Celine Bonniere were slow-dancing... It was so powerful - that thrumming bass and lazy drumbeat... Wow. I just love Massive Attack...

Chronologically? Blue Lines . It's excellent.

They've also got a 'best of' double-disc called Collected which at a glance seems to have about every song that ever backed a commercial or opened or closed a television show. :D

Thanks. The more I listen to MA, the less it grows on me and the more indifferent I feel. Not good. Not bad either. Just kinda meh.
