It takes me back each time to sitting on the plane waiting to go back to rush to mom's side as she laid dying in the hospital in Maui. It's not a bad feeling amazingly enough......It was just surreal sitting amongst a bunch of passengers that were excited for their trip and in such deep contrast to the reason I was going. Even so the music was soothing in my state of mind as well as the plane load of passengers that were all around me {#Good-vibes}

I'm going to Hawaii for the first time in two weeks and I can't wait to hear music like this!

Yes me to, started out on KPig and when it went commercial I found this excellent station and have ben here ever since.. I'm in the UK and when I joined I think there was 6 or 7of us but it sure has a lot more listeners now and I hope I have been instrumental in that as I have spread the word at every oppurtunity. I stll use a reference to KPig on my email signature ... ''oinkandout and Bless the Lard''

It's cold outside, you can see the ice fog hanging in the air... ...why did I ever leave the islands? More importantly, will I ever get back? This music is great on it's own, but I guarantee it takes it to a whole new level when you're sprawled out on the hammock and the breeze is licking your face on another sunny day in Kailua (or Kaimuke, or Waimea, or...) Loves me some slack-key... {#Clap}

Whenever I need a stress buster, I look for slack key and queue it up. Perfect for a long road trip....

Hey, wasn't this one of the old kpig.com "filler" songs?

You can throw in a little Beamer, Cazimero Brothers, etc. whenever the mood hits. Godlike is good every once in a while. Helps keep me afraid of the devil.

I agree about Keola Beamer - what an amazing slack-key guitarist. I rather love this song, too! {#Sunny} {#Meditate}
