Well here in the evening, with the dog sprawled on the verandah, a homemade meal digesting, coffees coming in our village on the Oz West Coast, this is a very fine sound. |

This comment made me laugh (because I use to say this, jokingly to my sunshine of a daughter) ... as a very wise man said many, many years ago: " There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens " |

GuiltyFeat May 02, 2012 - 06:48 | My favourite Aimee Mann story is that I saw her opening for World Party in London nearly 20 years ago. Half way through her set she invited Neil Innes up on stage with her. I was probably one of a handful of people there that night who knew who Neil Innes was. Then they played Cheese & Onion from the soundtrack to The Rutles... " do I have to spell it out? C, H, E, E, S, E, A, N, D, O, N, I, O, N, S, oh yeah " Genius. One of my most unexpected concertgoing delights ever. |
gypsyman Apr 27, 2012 - 09:07 | beautiful angst and nostalgia, and pains from an old wound....... |
Baketown Apr 06, 2012 - 07:13 | One of her best songs! |
ziakut Mar 05, 2012 - 14:25 | This tune of hers doesn't have too much droning...which is a good thing. I like Aimee Mann...but really prefer ANYTHING from her first solo record..."Whatever" over this stuff. |
