Next time put on Isaac Hayes "Walk On By"! Certainly fooled me at the beginning.... Sorry to say I was disappointed :(

I heard it too..... and the funny thing was .... that I was just thinking of that song a couple of days ago.... and wanting to hear it. But after hearing THIS.... I am not disappointed..... THIS is AMAZING —— like most Hooverphonic that I have heard on here.

Great album - simply buy it if you like whatever you hear from it here.

I'm always disappointed when it turns out to be the hooverphonics. But then again I lost my virginity to Hot Buttered Soul. Wicked good.

Actually...was pretty relieved that this turned out to be Hooverphonic and not Isaac covering "Walk on By." I've just heard it too many times on RP...

A new LFN series is coming out this week. Haven't heard what they're going to use for a soundtrack, but the old show will be hard to top.

I watched one episode, and it was nothing like the original. I just can't do it. I've got CDs of ALL the music used on all five seasons of the show, and there's just no way WB can recreate magic - especially when they dropped the ball so royally by not marketing La Femme Nikita. The music alone was worth watching the show for - the scripts, the casting, the production - those were icing on the cake. I miss that show...

What makes me crazy about Hooverphonic is that I first heard them on "La Femme Nikita," and now I hear them everywhere, but I can still see the scenes where their songs were used as mood music in the background. And then, I have to drag out my DVDs of the show and watch them again. Flashbacks are an obnoxious thing sometimes.

Oooh, I loved that show. Maybe this is part of the reason why.

Very groovy, in a Portishead sort of way. Very pleasant.

Yes, echo the votes for Isaac Hayes. Some Hot Buttered Soul would be cool....

It would be nice to follow this with the original. (Not sure I've ever heard it done by Isaac. Did Dionne Warwick ever do this song?) I love this!
