Funny, the first few measures of this piece trigger the same kind of memories: me, sitting at the foot of my daughter's bed and humming this tune along with the Rockabye Baby CD to put her to sleep. I like the song but I am so used to the lullaby version that I find this version hard to deal with. I also really have an issue with Chris Martin's voice (and the fact he doesn't always sing in tune). The lullaby CD did however help me get an appreciation for his ability to write great melodies and arrangements . [ Reply ]
