I've heard many versions of this and everyone in this cottage thought it was a bit fast. It's still lovely, amazing and evocative.

I agree wholeheartedly. Well, okay, I'm not a pianist, I play the recorder. But it really is something spiritual playing this. Well, not this, I've actually never played it on the recorder. But I have played Raggle Taggle Gypsy. Truly transformative.

I agree with you. I have to tune into silence right at the end of this masterpiece. Anything else would only ruin the moment.
