bigbobbybubba Jun 16, 2012 - 21:05 | Love this song, always have. Brings back memories of Don Krirshner and late nights. Kudos! |
brucelowrey Jun 16, 2012 - 20:22 | Bill, The current "alternative station" may not recognize Focus - "Hocus Pocus," but I do. Thanks for playing this classic! |
RobertAtParadise May 16, 2012 - 01:38 | A worldwide underestimated band.. my complements to Radio Paradise who has confirmed their high level as a music station. |
RoelantSiekman May 16, 2012 - 01:31 | Delighted to hear this one! I guess the 'jodelling' kills the song for many people (given the low rating) but if you can get past this, it's a real piece of art of a band with one of the best guitarist in the world and a magnificent all round musician (Jan Akkerman and Thijs van Leer). I didn't quite get your comment on this one though, Bill. You said this wouldn't get much airplay? |
palad1 May 16, 2012 - 01:29 | Having a shitty day putting-out fires at work since 5am... This song makes my day worthwile. Thanks Bill, and props to all codemonkeys/ Firefighters! |

phlattop Apr 14, 2012 - 08:07 | A bit out there but likeable. And is that Popeye the sailor man having a seizure (the scat yodeling in the first 3 minutes)? |
h9xh9xh9x Apr 14, 2012 - 08:07 | Focus was tripping to Looney Toons while eating Captn Crunch, I dare say. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4ouPGGLI6Q> Freddy Mercury never sang/whistled like that :-) |
alfredas Apr 14, 2012 - 08:07 | Used to hear this all the time when I was a kid. Great stuff! |
Euskadita Apr 14, 2012 - 08:06 | Why this crap of song and not any track from Kayak (another progressive Dutch band)? |
JustineFromWyoming Apr 14, 2012 - 08:05 | We can all get on with our Saturday now that we've heard some Dutch yodeling. The seven year old has adequately rocked out and now the cat is howling in the hallway. Tonight is the local high school prom ... oh, to be able to sneak this song into that event's set list. I'd say it's a hit all around... |

GeneP59 Mar 13, 2012 - 16:31 | Brings me back to my freak years. |

foothillfreak Mar 13, 2012 - 16:28 | Growing up in Cincinnati I heard this one all the time on WEBN. I believe they often used it for their fireworks show. anyway, don't live in Cincy anymore so it's been a while. Thx for the blast from the past.. |
kh808 Mar 13, 2012 - 16:28 | yes high school and sex in the back seat! TURN IT UP! |
