msturgis Feb 25, 2013 - 17:10 | I have to rate this as high as can be! Love it so much, and just got up to sway and sing, as I always do when they play it. So beautiful. |
Segue Jan 25, 2013 - 09:55 | This amazing voice/heart at the end of ANOTHER set RP has outdone Itself ... embarrassing to be gushing all the time but Holy Moly. Bill's work is 11. Turn it up. First thing this morning and Life Is Better With Radio Paradise. .... And now Hendrix Castles Made Of Sand. Holy Shit. casey1024 Jan 25, 2013 - 09:54 | Debbie, Claudia, Phyllis, Terry, Mom - too many more to list. This song breaks me. Deserves more than a mere 10. |

I've just resolved to use any disposable income I have to see this woman in concert ONCE, no matter where she is (if it's Montréal, so much the better, but Sedona would be fine, too.) Life's too short to drink bad port. I think Ernest Hemmingway said that, but don't quote me. The point is, life's too short to miss out on the magic, and Ms. Griffin has it, to the n'th power. Off to put my new computer on hold and look for tickets instead. *Tossing faerie dust over my shoulder as I go* Godspeed, Ann. We miss you. |

jagla Oct 23, 2012 - 09:05 | Really up there, bravo Patty |
GawgaBoy Oct 23, 2012 - 09:04 | Was lucky enough to have tickets to see Patty's solo acoustic show the other night at a small theater in Duluth Georgia. Absolutely unbelievable. |

(We just have to put up with the evil posts of the trolls as part of the price of membership. After all, even paradise has mosquitoes.) The worst part of it all is, our friend Cynaera passed away a few months ago. I don't think she ever got to see Patty play. This song has always brought me close to tears, but now it has extra impact. |
