Not a Zep fan really...but I have the utmost respect for this amazing band. I really appreciate what they contributed to the Rock scene in the late 60s, 70s and 80s. We will never hear this kind of musicianship or writing ever again in the mainstream. {#Notworthy}

Not my favorite Zep by a stretch. Only two ways to go with this one. Turn it up or mute it.

This is one song that does not allow passive listening. It just sucks you in.

I purchased all the major box sets for Zeppelin such that I have their entire catalog. My conclusion: With the exception of a handful of tracks, Zeppelin didn't put out a bad song. Pretty amazing considering the volume of music they recorded.

This is not a favorite of mine, but "Kashmir" is.
Re 2003 vs. 2011: not that much different to me; some outstanding stuff from each era and mostly really lousy stuff from both eras. Sort of like every era. IMHO, mind you.

Interesting to think "Trampled" was released only 8 years after "Grapevine". Does 2011 music sound so much different from 2003? Discuss ....
