Driving through Nebraska in the summer of '96, and it's also about 96 degrees outside. For some reason, a whiny, nasally Liam Gallagher cropping up on the dial crooning this Beatle-esque "Revolver knockoff" had a cooling & calming effect.

i really don't like these guys most of the time this song, tho, "Pretty Good".

Slowly walking down the hall, faster than a cannonball.

That's just stupid.

Whiny first half. Then kick ass. Still a bit of an '80ish mashup.

Funny how I always dismissed this band as Johnny Come Latelies when living in the US. When I moved across the pond in the late '90s a British friend lent me this album and I gave them another chance. My opinion changed drastically after a couple of listens.

This is from a period I seem to have, somehow, missed completely. And yet, maybe I did not miss anything. The whole Oasis thing is something I have managed to live without and I have no plans to rectify this apparent deficit.

I never rated this band back when they were hotter than the sun in the UK (not that its hard to be hotter than the sun in the UK). But in recent years I’m starting to think that I may have under rated them.

I've heard of them all and even own some of their music.

Have you heard of the bands that influenced those bands?

Quick measuring dicks. Makes no difference in this world of anonymous.

Odd how this is only rated a 6.3 here. notwithstanding the antics of the Gallaghers, they pumped out some instant classics. Like this one. Oh well.

This tune is the best definitions of ... SUCKO-BARFO.

(many says these guys is the best of brit-pop, IMHO is just the best of brit-propaganda) .

Bunch of pretentious morons on here, this isn't even Oasis at their best and if you ignorant losers took the time to listen to their other universally acclaimed albums from the 90's you'd see how much epic music they've made.
back in 1994-2000 Oasis' 3 or 4 B sides per single were better than most if all bands A sides, that's why they are still so popular around the world except from the US, that prefer's Coldplay.

One of the best bands of the 90's and I'm not even their biggest fan, you lot probably haven't even heard of Blur, Pulp or even The Stone Roses.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.
