"We can work it out ... by you agreeing with me" Yeah, that part of the song provides some insight into the young Paul McCartney's attitude towards women in general (and Jane Asher, in particular). The sections that Lennon wrote also reflect a definite impatience with women. It's still a great love song, but not an entirely nice one. |

Where's the compromise? Where's the reality, maturity? You miss the point, some of the lyrics are exposited. Listen to the song as a whole to get the global meaning. |
stalfnzo Apr 29, 2008 - 09:56 | No, I do not like it. Kept thinking "There must be something wrong with my connection to RP. Right? This can't really be as bad as it sounds." |

Where's the compromise? Where's the reality, maturity? Right. Human relationships have undergone a massive paradigm shift. These lyrics are so far from reality. ... Give me a break, dude. No, the lyrics are just fine for today and will be fine in 50 years. |
AphidA Apr 29, 2008 - 09:54 | This sounds like some crappy TV show version. :puke: |

Where's the compromise? Where's the reality, maturity? Suck it, Trebek! |
Art_Carnage Mar 28, 2008 - 21:57 | Like the shot-for-shot remake of "Psycho". What's the point? |
shakylegs Feb 26, 2008 - 11:24 | I love him as host of "The Amazing Race." |
Marina1 Feb 26, 2008 - 09:42 | Copy-cat version. Went from a 7 to a 3.
|
robco1 Feb 26, 2008 - 09:41 | I gotta give him a 7 just for having the balls to cover the fab four. |
E_A_D_G Feb 26, 2008 - 09:41 | Got my attention. The bridge and orchestration need work (odd key) but a 7 overall for faithfulness to source material. |
jncverhoef Feb 26, 2008 - 09:41 | lame-o |
slydevil Feb 26, 2008 - 09:41 | boring cover. doesn't add much. |
Shesdifferent Feb 26, 2008 - 09:40 | Made me look |
Marr Feb 26, 2008 - 09:39 | Not too bad, but not much new here either. I usually prefer covers of classics to try taking a different tack. |
Aud Jan 25, 2008 - 22:56 | The Lyrics have dated metality-"you do it my way or else we break up."

rtrudeau Jan 25, 2008 - 22:54 | Meh. |
ludite Dec 25, 2007 - 12:38 | Nice interpretation. I'd like to hear it again before I decide if it's a keeper. |
