Why did my mind flip to Jerry Lee Lewis when this came on?

Alison & Bob could learn a thing or two from Ok Go on how to properly use a treadmill in a video .

I love every song on this album. Sure, you can claim these are really "basic formula" songs (chord progressions are predictable, that's why you can draw comparisons with so many other songs), but they're performed, arranged and produced SO well.

Easily my fave Plant solo CD. It's great to see he hasn't become a nostalgia act, trotting out the Zep tunes in casinos and Vegas (do we really need a 70-year-old singing about "every inch of my love"?). I respect the fact that he's "done moved on" to this acoustic material that is more appropriate for a singer of his "maturity". ; )

I've always loved Plant solo - he's explored so many different angles of the music, without being clichéd or worn. I love his collaboration with Krauss, and his Band of Joy. Still love him best with Zep, but at least I haven't heard anything he's done that left me cold. And yes, OTB - I, too, am glad he hasn't dragged the Zep library through the lounge-lizard-liver-spotted casino circuit. Just the thought of that makes me shudder in revulsion. Vegas is usually the end of the line for most big-name rockers who want to draw a paycheck without having to do anything innovative...

Funny to read all the comments regarding nostalgia for "the old Robert Plant"

Remember 1988? Tall Cool One? Truly embarrassing.

Great production, in line with Mr. Plant's passionate hobby as a musical historian and a dose of Allison Krauss improves anything. Works for me in almost all ways. Can't figure many of the comments here, especially the one about country music. Still, I appear to be in the minority. Nice to be humbly reminded that my peerless judgment is not necessarily universally accepted.

Hate to dilute your epiphany about your judgement, but I agree entirely. Fine song from a strong album.

Does Chris Isaak really do any upbeat songs? He lives for heartbreak.

If you don't like this song—and many RPers apparently don't—the video might change your mind. Or not.
