daveesh Sep 01, 2009 - 06:50 | this is almost cool. i wish she'd actually sing more instead of talking. and the horns are too subdued. |

rcurrier Aug 08, 2009 - 14:19 | Excellent cover. Too bad the music inside is so...tedious. |
samiyam Jul 31, 2009 - 17:54 | Excellent cover... really eerie treatment. |
mamerjamer Jul 18, 2009 - 12:36 | I got the Morphine connection immediately. Glad to hear that sound and style preserved. I like the original of this song, this one is crisp enough and does not stray from the original vocals too far. Would I run out and buy it? Probably not, but if they keep using that Morphine formula, they might go somewhere. Just hard to replace the vocals of the original Morphine singer - a classic combination of music and singer. |

WhiteWater Jul 18, 2009 - 12:32 | btilrn wrote: Pretty broad range of ratings...Personally, I love it! Not too many tracks earn such a polarized rating - interesting. Something opposite a bell curve is usually reserved for Dead Can Dance or the Cocteau Twins... |
fatcatjb Jul 07, 2009 - 22:20 | sultry...love her voice, and all that swarmy sax |

Darkmatter May 29, 2009 - 05:14 | Meh. "Decent" alright, but Morphine did this style of music so much better. RIP Mark Sandman, you are still the best. |
Carl May 29, 2009 - 04:57 | High Comments to Total Ratings ratio. Interesting ratings distribution. Interesting tune. |
Dave_K May 29, 2009 - 04:56 | I liked it and am a big fan of the original too. This version sets a different mood. |
xyphen May 29, 2009 - 04:53 | I like this. Very chill. I can't remember what the original sounds like so no baggage equals positive experience. |
fredriley May 29, 2009 - 04:53 | Sultry, smooth, noir , disturbing - the sort of track that David Lynch would use in his films. The snare drum and baritone sax are very reminiscent of backing tracks to Twin Peaks. 7 from the Nottingham jury. |

gofishbish May 12, 2009 - 11:45 | puck me. this was excruciating. love the song. hurt to endure this version. |
