Wow! I thought I was really enjoying this until I read the comments below. Lighten up! Even after (or maybe because) I listened to this song a couple of hundred times when I was in high school, I really enjoyed every second of this version.

I like Don Ross's cover of this...and well...just about any other cover of this...not surprised it gets a mark here.

There must not be very many squirrels in your area.

This version does seem a bit thin. I prefer this live version on youtube:
Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton at the Crossroads Guitar Festival 2007, with Derek Trucks and Doyle Bramhall

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VT-SFgkVlno

check out this one from the same gig: "Had to Cry Today "

These vids set me off on an exploration of the backing guitarist - Derek Trucks - wow!

Keep up the good work.

good comment! Nice video!

I respect these two artists, love this song, but, give me BLIND FAITH, please! This pales by comparison.

The song is a paean for the lifestyle of the 60's; the song is a 10 while this version is a 9.

Hurrah!

I usually find the GSpot is the best way to find your way home.

Yes, especially when they stop doing it because they over-dosed on it.

Too much Steve Winwood the last couple weeks. His voice is annoying with frequent doses. He also sounds worse live.
