This sounds a whole lot like Lyrics Born backing up 'ole RL, doesn't it?

I love the fact that folks who listen to RP know who Lyrics Born is. Truly eclectic

Never thought I'd say this, but I like this version better than the Allman Brothers. Nice find, Bill.

I came across this video of RL at home in Mississippe in 1978 recently. R.I.P., R.L.

Ah, the music I grew up to, hearing it in juke joints and roadside clubs all through NC - the Castaway, the Red Door, the Embers Lounge, the Starlite. A culture paved over and replaced by McMansions and generica.

I'd rather have the juke joints . . .

If the guy on the album cover was white, it would look just like my dad.

My dad is a great guy, but can't sing and can't play the guitar at all. Burnside is fantastic.
