p.s. I worked with a guy (at the now defunct Bikesmith On Freret and Valence...We used to get the Nevilles in there) who had a "Rhapsodizers" t-shirt. That was the Radiators name before they changed it.
Da Radiators Dahlin'!
Echoes of Oingo Boingo's Dead Man's Party —but not as good.
meuksOct 02, 2012 - 18:08 | I saw these guys a lot. Some of the shows were amazing (especially @ Tiptitinas) and all the rest were friggin' awesome. Not too many people know about them. A true "underground" band if that is possible for a band that played for 20+ years in all of the great venues. Thanks RP. |

Cynaera wrote: "Zigzaggin' Through Ghostland" - what a great title for a CD. Maybe they'll call one of their CDs "Rollercoaster in a Hurricane." How about Blowing Off Steam? (sorry, lame radiator joke)
Oh gosh...I used to have so much fun seeing the Radiators after the Dead shows. Miss those days.
New to me. Sounds pretty goot.

SascoCreek wrote: Great to hear these guys on Radio Paradise. Yes it is. I listened to them a lot in the late 80s. Used to play "This Wagon's Gonna Roll" in one of my bands. Picked up a used CD recently with a cut entitled "Deep in the Voodoo."
Oh yeah!
LastChance wrote: How about "Confidential" on this same album? Yeah, Bill did not come even close to picking the best song on the album, or even necessarily a representative one of the Rads for that matter. Still, my ears perked up to full alert when I heard the opening riff.
