SugarPig Dec 04, 2011 - 17:42 | The accordion: not just for polkas any more. At least a 7. |
kaybee Dec 04, 2011 - 17:37 | Sadly the accordion is lowering the 7 to a 6 for me. |
terrapin52 Nov 03, 2011 - 03:08 | I'm one of the few people who actually can translate what she's saying. She says, "I love you because you listen to Paradise Radio." |

AvoidingWork Oct 27, 2010 - 09:01 | Bill said ".. from Madagascar .. " and I started hoping King Julian would start singing. This is nice too but I could use a little King Julian this morning. ... Need a little more coffee. |

You just blew by me - I'm on the same breeze. I often think that it is a foreign language that makes me not like some of Bill's "world music", but this disproves that theory - I don't understand a single word of this, but loved it instantly. |
Cynaera Jul 23, 2010 - 17:10 | I am SO sick of music in languages I don't understand! Kidding. I'm sick of being so language-challenged that I barely master English. This is a beautiful song - Ms. Said's voice is controlled, almost smug (with good reason) and, to quote romeotuma, "Sooo good for the ears." I love this song - I love this artist. And yes, the accordion (harpsicord?) adds a depth to the vocals that just makes it work perfectly. Solid 9 for this one. And I'm hoping to hear more... |
ziakut Jul 19, 2010 - 19:40 | I like the feel of this...but I"m afraid it gets overplayed here at RP. |
Shesdifferent Jul 17, 2010 - 10:39 | Nice, look forward to hearing more, thought it was Maire Boine for a minute |
