Ain't near as much fun is it? Live music is for the living. Well, being as I have no empathy for football. I can't comment on it being fun (although I have been to matches in the past). But as a regular live music attender I can sympathise. I have been to hundreds of gig's where to be there and be part of the crowd is just fantastic - the energy, the shared smiles, the dancing, the sheer excitement. But on rare occasions - usually at larger venues, but not exclusively - I have had to endure people around me shouting (not singing) the lyrics at the top of their ill advised voices and totally ruining the gig for me. Yes, you can call me a grumpy old git - but it is actually a bugbear of mine including people trying to shout a conversation while someone is performing so that it disturbs people (me) around them. Yes, I can have a fine old time at a gig, I can still jump up and down and shout, scream, whistle, clap and bop like I always have. . . but I have a sense of sharing my space with my fellow listeners. Those who spoil it for others by making it difficult to enjoy what one has usually paid a lot for can, in my humble opinion, fuck off. |
| Dear Bill, Please play this more often. Thank you! |
| Classic. Love TP, |

You have say look at me I recognise a tune, and go yeah at every opportunity. Singing along is different. Often I share your view, but to me, this is one of the exceptions. I love this live performance, excellently delivered, and the feeling of how the audience responds. It's brilliant. I am always transported. |

It sounds like they are having a good time...It's all right! |
| Wow, this live version is very alright, thanks! |
