definitely enjoyed it but it confirmed what I already knew: Gregg Allman is a narcissistic prick unwilling to share credit or tolerate the success of others...........namely DICKEY BETTS!

Wow. Southern R n R. This is so freakin good. My god, this use to be so common to hear several bands playing this genre; albeit not this well. But hey...they were trying.

The guitar work is soooooo good. You can get high on it.

Last time RP played this I had to break out my album and listen to it. I forgot how awesome Gregg and Dickey played on this song.

Just bought an Allman Brothers greatest hits album and heard this for the first time (that I can remember, anyway.) It immediately went onto my favorites playlist. Great jam.

Mountain Jam is based on the Donovan original "There is a Mountain".

I first heard Mountain Jam in Miami in 1970 when they had a malfunction in the vocal section of their show. They played it for an hour til the PA got fixed. And they were just the warm up for Spirit. What a great show !!!!

Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971... this song is from the first album completely recorded without him after his death...

Dickey Betts wrote this song, and it rocks...
