| CCR - R&R as it should be. Honest and crystal clear. Great! |
| Ah, you've gone and spoiled it Bill! I really thought he was born on the Bayou! :) |
d-donJan 23, 2013 - 09:46 | I still remember hearing this in my mom's 1962 Buick Skylark, KYES AM radio, Roseburg, Oregon. I kept cranking it up and she'd yell, "Turn that down!" Thanks for the memories, and I don't care how overplayed this is I still dig it. |
| This song is long overdue for termination.... wayyyy toooo overplayed..... |

Right now, it's going through my brain like a hacksaw blade so it's away to the blessed relief of the mute button. Other times I've quite enjoyed this song. It just goes to show how mood can affect your liking, or not, of a song. Fred, I bet you'd like "It Came Out of the Sky." Not so grainy and gritty, but really pretty funny, lyrically. I have ideas for a story based on this song. It might even make a good movie - especially if one were to develop the narrative and the various characters. It's a story with a beginning, a middle, and an end, with lots of potential for expansion. Maybe I'll do THIS for my Nanowrimo (National Novel Writing Month) in November... |
