After the first time I heard it, I put a notebook and a pencil next to my bed, and I wrote down all my dreams. (Boy, my subconscious is a skeery place.) I even wrote a short story called "Dead of the Night" which had nothing to do with the topic of the song. Shawn Colvin is my muse, I think. 'Scuse me - gotta go fish out my "Steady On" CD and listen to it through the headphones. I feel a story brewing... [ Reply ]
