I took a ruler with me to Santa Rosa and they ran me out on a rail.

An odd duck, like that duck down at the pond that's always quoting Auden as if no one had ever heard of him before. (Auden, I mean. The duck is pretty obscure - although he did get a couple of inches in the local press for saving those kittens from that steamroller last fall. Also he has a weird hat. Auden, I mean. What's up with the peacock feather and the railroad spikes? I mean, sure, he's a poet, he's a little eccentric - I get that. But there's eccentric, and there's "I'd love to teach the bellboy to curse in Swahili while I sit in a tub of lime jello and watch Billy Mays with the sound off", you know?

Anyway, you're odd. But I respect that.
