My eldest lurves steak, I was vegetarian for 6 years, until we couldn't get planes in in Alaska with any fresh produce (because of storms), then my carnivore side reared its hungry head.

yes! yes! It happens more than we realize. And naturally many men don't wish to call attention to it. There's alot of guilt for feeling that way!
Unfortunately many teenage daughters still crave the hugs daddy used to give, instead of looking for that affection amongst her male peers ...thus engaging in sex when all she wanted was affection and attention (?)

Good idea. Sell raffle tickets. Winner(s) get to administer retribution upon the perpetrators. Proceeds go to animal protection organizations. I'd buy a few tickets.

It would be really good if those people responsible for the abuse would get to know how it feels for themselves.

I thought the same thing. Then I realized, perhaps I needed to be woken up and remember that ground beef in the freezer came from a living animal. Made me stop and think.

with a forklift, kicked in the face and beaten with clubs and sticks. These images
are horrendously vile, so absolutely filthy and disgusting and there they are on
all our televisions at 6pm 7pm 9 pm 10 pm amd 11pm every bloody day this week.
It's no wonder children are so desensitized to violence and degradation.
