I heard on Bill Maher the other day that Meat Processing, or the Meat Industry, and not our other emissions, is the worst contributor to the environment! I did not know that!
Ignorant...I guess!
My eldest lurves steak, I was vegetarian for 6 years, until we couldn't get planes in in Alaska with any fresh produce (because of storms), then my carnivore side reared its hungry head.

The humane society shot undercover video at a meat processing plant.
This resulted in a big recall of beef due to possible contamination.
But the film showed people torturing cows, not processing meat. It's sickening.
I know people people who cried for days after seeing it. It's been on the main
news every hour for a week. I still can't believe they show this. I've had to
change channels every time it appears because I can't watch it either.
I suppose most people think it's OK because they are cows, not dogs or cats.

yes! yes! It happens more than we realize. And naturally many men don't wish to call attention to it. There's alot of guilt for feeling that way!
Unfortunately many teenage daughters still crave the hugs daddy used to give, instead of looking for that affection amongst her male peers ...thus engaging in sex when all she wanted was affection and attention (?)

Good idea. Sell raffle tickets. Winner(s) get to administer retribution upon the perpetrators. Proceeds go to animal protection organizations. I'd buy a few tickets.
