My workout machine really likes Bjork. In fact, it's listening to her now in the other room. I have to shut the door when it turns the volume up high, 'cuz I'm not such a fan, but anything to make that machine happy.

I'll probably catch grief for this, but there is an 18-minute version of the Donna Summer song, Try Me I Know We Can Make It. Yes, it's disco in its finest hour, but damn, that song does not quit. And you won't either under the headphones pumping away to that thing. Drum box and everything. And Donna's heavy breathing voice.
I Feel Love was awesome too.
I'm going to print my entire playlist in a bit, and what's good for a) ellipticals and b) treadmills
It really IS motivating when you've got good tunes.

When I was bike racing, I always got going with 'I Will Not Go Quietly' by Don Henley. Definitely helped push through the pain just before the sprint started...
I've come to believe that Donna Summer was am truly awesome talent (but disco still sucks.)

I'd like to thank Dave Grohl and the boys for my continuing weight loss. The Foo Fighters' faster songs are PERFECT for 5.5 on the treadmill (and running outside). Did you know that their song All My Life burns 100 calories???
Maybe one day when I go back to visit SB and "Mike" I will get to meet Dave at a barbecue and thank him in person!
Done! Done! And I'm on to the next one DONE! DONE! And I'm on to the next one.....
I have to keep my brain engaged while sweating, there has to be a purpose coupled with raw meat exercise, but that's just me.
Sometimes it's fun to just go "raw-meat" and turn off my brain...just exist in the music. When I'm feeling particularly crazy, I keep up with the tempo of Foo Fighters' "D.O.A." and just close my eyes and go like the wind.
When the song is over, I look down and see I've about double my calories burned in 3-4 minutes!
*cough cough* But no workin' out til my cough is gone.
