So I try to love and care for people... but I wind up fearing them.

One doesn't need reasons to be optimistic. If you have everything, what's there left to be optimistic for? It is a choice. You either are optimist or pessimist. (sorry for bad english) |

Learned Optimism: How to Change Your Mind and Your Life, by Martin E. P. Seligman, Ph.D. (1990, Vintage Books) http://www.reflectivehappiness.com There are also several other titles by Seligman that deal with happiness and overcoming learned helplessness. Someone recommended that I read this, and I was quite optimistic when I went out and got the book. Now I am looking forward to actually reading it some day.
