If we are talking about adjusting tax rates and tax reform , then, yes, talking about the .01 percent makes sense.

Expanding to lay the blame for everything upon those within the .01 percent makes less sense.

Ah, but you equate the 1% to someone being "rich".

The 1% is about power, privilege and influence, not about dollars owned.

The 1% is about living off of the backs of the productive, while making the rules and shaping the lives for them.

Nor do any of our elected officials*, I'm afraid, so you need to let go of this one and focus on something that may actually be of some interest/use.

*They may have known at one time, but taking office does a great job of erasing one's memory and/or causing one to realize it's a hopeless mess anyway, so why not accept all of the favor$?

His education in Hawaii was at one of the most privilaged and exclusive schools in the world.  He attended Punahou School, a private college preparatory school, from fifth grade until his graduation from high school in 1979.  Then Columbia and Harvard.  If that ain't a silver spoon life, I don't know what is.

I laugh my flippen arse off every time I hear Obama say he wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth.  While, technically, he may be correct, he obviously is shall we say, grossly misrepresenting his life.  One might even call him a liar about it.

Obama shared the luck of birth to receive the life and education, just the same as Romney.  Because they were both children, they were given what they had as children.

Well, most people are given what they had as children, because they were children

However, there is no way that you can compare someone who has had servants all his life with someone who has been offered a few benefits, which he would not have had if he wasn't extremely smart.

Besides, the point isn't that Romney has money, no one denies him that. It is that he has absolutely no idea how the real people live, as he has proved over and over again.

Mitt Romney: Professional Liar

Take for example, Romney’s response to President Barack Obama’s comment last week at a community college in Elyria, Ohio. Obama noted that he wasn’t from a rich family and needed help from others to get the education that allowed him to make his way in the world.

At Lorain County Community College, Obama said: “Somebody gave me an education. I wasn’t born with a silver spoon in my mouth. Michelle (Obama) wasn’t. But somebody gave us a chance. Just like these folks up here are looking for a chance.”

While Obama may not have been born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he has had a life and education that rivals anyone 'born' in that condition.  He was never bad off in any sense other than the broken marraige of his parents.  His life in Indonesia was charmed and when he moved back to Hawaii at age age 10 to live with his grandparents it took on that silver spoon quality.  His grandfather was a succesful salesman and his grandmother was the vice president of the Bank of Hawaii.  Poor people, eh ?
