It's supposed to be in the 50s and 60s this time of year here. We went to a birthday party that was billed as a bonfire. Needless to say with the temperature in the high 80s we nixed the bonfire part.

I see that (in southwest Ohio) it's finally going to break on Tuesday, after a morning rain shower. Back down in the 40s at night and low 70s/mid 60s for highs.

Thank goodness. I mean, it's AUTUMN for gawdsake!

It's SNOWING. Which would be less of a bummer were I not planning to take my camper up into gumbo-mud prairie country in support of a buddy's wish to hunt antelope. Might turn into an early-morning camperless day trip tomorrow, I'm afraid. . . .
