A random sample of quotes from the woot-off.I just hope my warning was able to save a few people from this horrible fate.I'm glad to be waking up and observing this woot-off from the outside of the asylum,RP is more of a half-way house atmosphere.Or maybe like a collection of people who hang out at the library of a minimum security prison.

It's been over a year since my last woot-off.The nightmares have stopped,although I do occasionally burst into tears and urinate on myself if I hear the words "Bag" and/or "crap. For awhile there it was even happening every time I heard the word "of".

i'm liking this. I'm in the uk,do you think they will 'woot' it over for me?
Here in the uk we have these dodgy buggers who pull up in a van and open the back and basically start selling crap.Thye start off with some cheap watches or jewelery and sell it for like a Â£1 a go, they have stooges too so it all looks kosher,then slowly they bring out the more expensive stuff,by this time people are clammering to get this as thye might have missed out on a 'rolex' or whatever.so they end up buying a right load of crap for more money,suddenly,down goes the back of the van,they drive off loads money and people left wondering what crap they have just bought.You'd be surprised how mnay people buy at these things.

Is woot the same as this?or is it genuine?

They've been flogging a home theatre projector for the last hour (and more). 500 bucks. This happens in these woot-offs when you get a high end item, and even when they only have 30 to sell, it takes a couple of hours to go through them all.

Looks like a good opportunity for the WA crowd to catch a few Zs.

No you won't.You'll stare at the frozen screen cursing woot.Then you will get a server busy message or something.Then you'll go to the forums and see hundreds of angry people screaming and swearing they will never shop at woot again.Do a search of these peoples posts.They will be back again next month.

Yes I am in WA and I think I'm gonna be OK.I just take it one day at a time.I still get the urge when I'm driving by a Dollar Store but then I see the homeless drug addicts on the street and am just thankful I was able to escape.

Yes you can buy 3 at a time. However there are thousands of slobbering fanatics out there peeing into milkjugs so they won't miss the chance to grab one.
Seriously, the servers crash immediately everytime within seconds of the BOC going on sale.It's part of the experience if you like the being kicked in the balls type of thing.
I don't really know what the ratio of shoppers to BOC is but it's waaaay high.

You're better off just going to the dollar store and spending $20, at least your stuff will work and you can get something you actually can use.

There are some OK deals once in a while,they sell a new product as soon as the previous one sells out. You save maybe 20-30% on older products, refurbs, returns and stuff they buy at liquidation sales.
