And another thing:
Is that a Sugar pine, or a Ponderosa on the left on the WeatherCam? Paradise may be at too low an elevation for Ponderosas.

Well the weathercam is great; but in all due respects, I like the view from my neighborhood of Paradise better :-)

Bill will know where this is; I live off of Rocky right next to the bike path; and it's sort of at a high point so everywhere you look around, the pine trees are gently sloping away. This part of town is even more serene compared to where we used to live off of Clark, and I'm enjoying the peaceful serenity of the rain pelting on my roof as I type.

Thanks for putting Paradise on the map with this diverse radio station! (But I wish I had a weathercam in my yard...)

Hey, Bill. The leaves are beginning to turn in your yard. We're at peak color here in the lower Hudson Valley in New York. Hope you have a colorful display for your first autumn in your new home.

We're enjoying the fall color in our yard quite a bit. Our last place just had pines & native oaks (whose fall color is brown) so it's a treat. If I come up with enough USB cables/repeaters I'll move the weather cam to my office/studio window - there are some lovely Japanese maples on that side.

Sometimes you need to refresh the front page for the most recent WeatherCam image to appear. There's a trick I use on the StudioCam to prevent that. I'll do it on the WeatherCam too when I get a chance.

The 'WeatherCam' is totally black now (7.14 RP time), but the StudioCam is starting to light up with light coming through what seems to be a window?

Is the WeatherCam still in a crate?

Very nice, although my own neighborhood view isn't all that bad either.
After I posted I thought "Whoops, what if they have moved the webcam and now it's looking at a street light or some such thing". But today I see the cam is still in it's place. So it must be pointing south-east.
True full moon occurs tomorrow A.M., so tonight's the real one.

Hi Bill,

Here on the other side of the Globe, (the Netherlands), the windowcam shows black for most of my day, and so it should, for then it's night on your side. However, the prospect of observing a slowly progressing dawn is destroyed by a gastly reflection in your window from somewhere inside the room, forming two yellow-greenish spots in the picture roughly in the middle of the single tree in the foreground. I'm sure it would be less black outside if the cam would not have to keep these bright spots in its brightness-range, and the slowly emerging "outside" as the light of dawn approaches would be much prettier. Perhaps you can put something in front of the light, or move the cam slightly, or get rid of the reflection in some other way.
Thanks for any effort.

There's a spot (on the window?) which is purported to be a UFO that has taken Bill.

In Bill's absence, maybe Bella could pose for the puppy cam?
