might be worth a call to the state to see what kind of proof of claim might be needed or even if it's worth digging up more info. There's a contact number somewhere on the Jersey site.

My aunt's estate papers got shredded back in New Joy Sea.

I didn't pay much attention to it, since it was truly none of my business. It was part of Mom's paperwork.
