Dave Morey (KFOG) once spent most of his show assuring listeners that the station had changed format to all show tunes. And proceeded to play nothing but them for a few hours. On April 1st.

EDIT: Scratch Percy. Uploaded "When a Man Loves a Woman" yesterday and plan to do more if it gets added. Rediscovered an old compilation CD of his in my collection recently.

Would be grateful if you did Sting. I think it does stand a chance of being accepted. There's far worse stuff of his in the library that does get played.

I use DBPowerAmp, which, in turn, uses LAME for MP3 encoding. (I rip to OGG vorbis for my own use.)

The current release (version 11) has a 30-day trial MP3 encoder, but the previous release allows for unlimited usage.

I use Grip and Lame. Both are hi-quality, popular and open/free software.

Anyone else have some Wilson Pickett they'd like to share on the LRC? I just this afternoon filled up my slots (James Brown, though...) before I heard the news, and I think striking while this sad iron is hot might get us some more Wicked on the main. R.I.P. Wilson...

Bad news on this track.

There are a few small scratches on my CD and it turns out that the only track that has burning jitters is 'WYR'. I've tried burning multiple times at 256 and 320 (after cleaning) and no go (2 pops from 2-3 minute mark)

Hopefully someone else has this song out there.
