I just tried a bunch of different belt-tyings... Because the loops are toward the front of the jacket, I can't tie them behind... it pulls the front of the jacket back. I could button it up and put the belt on... it accentuates my thick torso a bit, but whatchagonna do. I also would have to pray that it's not HOT in the room. ugh. (I'm a sweatball). How bad is it to let the belt hang? If I take it off, it looks like I forgot my belt. the color is GREAT for you. seriously. i TOLD YA!!!
hmm. let's see what we can do with the belt options. loop them up so they don't hang. that way you're not worried about being constricted or looking like it's not "done" as you didn't tie them. i wouldn't leave them hang. don't button. just...somehow tie them up separately so they don't hang. you can figure that out.

The skirt has some really cute detailing near the top that unfortunately won't be seen (I don't have a tuckable midsection).
And really great bargains from Burlington Coat Factory!

I came across this at Kohl's yesterday... totally different shirt style than I usually wear. A little cleavage, but hopefully not too much HEYLOOKATMYCHEST action. It feels great and works good with slacks. Not what I'd wear to my big event tomorrow, but good for other events!

I don't know what to do with the tie thing. It looks all bunchy and booby when it's tied. don't need to accentuate the massive upstairs.

I got some clothes!
Here's the skirt. This is with a jacket I don't wear very often. And my new boots. The hubby likes them a lot.

Actually it was in the baseball thread: http://www.radioparadise.com/rp2-content.php?name=Forums&file=showtopic&p=3307304 P.S. And I don't think I've ever met a green velvet anything that I didn't fall madly in love with - a coat would be totally swoon-worthy.

1. Also of note is that in most of the photos the model is wearing the dress backwards. I like things that can be worn multiple ways. 2. I would probably wear with faded old jeans and cowboy boots. 3. And it goes without saying that I would fill the dress out considerably more than that poor thing. Although as someone who was naturally unnaturally skinny in my youth I have great empathy for those who find themselves unable to put on weight. For those starving themselves, all I can say is, "WHY?"
2. Sounds good. I guess that there are a few cowboy boots available in your area! |
