There is a tremendous amount of hype surrounding this year's Celtics. They were expected to be in playoffs before losing their star trade acquisition (Gordon Hayward) for the season. Now the "experts" can't agree on who is most responsible for their dominant start. Irving? Smart? Horford? Brown? Tatum? Coach Stevens? Haven't seem them play much, but it's exciting thinking about their potential for this season and beyond.

I'm starting to think that after all of these years Lebron is reminding me a lot of things Wilt.

I'm only an occasional Celtics fan, but the lowlights of that game were painful to watch. Boston looks completely overmatched. And now Boston.com is reporting that Isaiah Thomas is done for the season.

So it's the Warriors and the Cavs again. The NBA has some serious issues with tanking, lack of parity, and favored treatment of superstars. I wouldn't say the fix is in with the NBA but the whole thing is a little too predictable and overhyped.

Yes, congrats to the Tar Heels! I didn't think they would win, but they proved themselves to indeed be the best team this year.

Yes, it will be interesting to see if the Polish giant and the 7-foot freshman off the bench can keep Meeks and his teammates from doing a number on the offensive boards especially.  That 7-foot frosh had a monster game against South Carolina.  He could be a key for the Zags, because they will need strong performances from both of their big men to contain NC inside.

I also agree that the diminished physical capacity of Berry could be pivotal.  He appears to be playing at about 85 percent or so.  The Tarheels will have to figure out a way to neutralize Williams-Goss, who has been playing at an extremely high level.

All that said, I still would bet on NC if I were betting.  Expect it to be close, though.

Yes, Williams-Goss is a tough assignment, especially if he gets a little momentum.  I don't want to hazard a bet; it should be a close game, and a lot of people around here in the Chapel Hill area still haven't recovered from last year's heart-wrenching loss to Villanova.

They're going to have to rely on perimeter shooting more than they usually like to and their other two big men have to play well, or at least get the Polish giant in foul trouble.  Most of their fortune depends on how well Berry can play with the bum ankle.  An up-tempo game could favor UNC with their deep bench, but still Gonzaga has been consistent in all aspects, all season.

Yea I don't think they can do it, Gonzaga has pretty much been the only consistently dominant team this year wire to wire. Should be a great game though.
