It may not be a classic style but some of them will hop your socks off. Dogfish Head particularly. The American craze for IPAs mostly leaves me cold but hoo boy I love DFH 90 Minute.

I tried this one because...well, because America dammit! And it blew me away with its refreshing goodness.

Went back to the store and it was all gone, but they had their IPA, which I generally don't like but did. So that's two. I'd try their stout or barleywine if I could find it.

"Imperial India Pale Ale" my arse. Fer gawds sake Russian Imperial Stout was very popular in pre-revolutionary Russia, accounting for a great deal of British beer exports, and yes, some IPA went that way as well. As seperate products.

But this mish-mash is just wrong. Imperial stout or porter on one hand, India Pale Ale on the other. Worlds apart, both literally and in beerland.

It's about time I had some of that. I liked it before, but in my normal rotation it's missed a few turns. I remember thinking it was great, tho.
