Fer gawds sake Russian Imperial Stout was very popular in pre-revolutionary Russia, accounting for a great deal of British beer exports, and yes, some IPA went that way as well. As seperate products. But this mish-mash is just wrong. Imperial stout or porter on one hand, India Pale Ale on the other. Worlds apart, both literally and in beerland.
