Well just like bell bottoms and flip phones, this took a while to arrive in Wyoming (ignoring the label, I did buy the 2018 version this week), so dutifully came here to report. YES it's very nice. I have become a big fan of these beers, despite being generally not in favor of fruit in beer. Orange definitely works, in that it's difficult to detect any citrus at all, and if you didn't know there was orange in it, any citrus notes you did detect you'd just attribute to the hops.

I think there are enough of these in stock here now that I can do a brand comparison 6-pack to figure out which are the best, but they generally are all good.

Uinta Tangerine Hop Nosh was the first one I tried, and that was less than 2 years ago. Typical that Lagunitas had a version of it 2 years before all the others showed up here.
Stone Tangerine Express has chunks of pineapple in it too for some reason
Lagunitas Citrasenensis
New Belgium Citradelic
 Those are all good

Sierra Nevada Sidecar starts to taste a little iffy to me

New Belgium Citradelic Lime Pilsener is good but not IPA so the lime really wins out. I'll buy it this summer tho.
Uinta Grapefruit Hop Nosh is too grapefruity but I drank 'em all. There was a grapefruit beer fad that I never tried. I might give it a go now.
Sierra Nevada has a Tropical Torpedo IPA that is good but like the Sidecar, I think they'd both do better with more malt. SN beers in general go their own way and I usually think "meh."
Breckenridge Mango Mosaic: had it, don't remember not liking it, would have again.

To sum up: Not usually unwilling to try strong beers brewed with fruit. Beer with fruit flavors added is still a no-go.

I have tried virtually all of them! lol Theobroma may be my favorite, most of them are wonderful! I am fortunate to have a beer go to store that has entire rows dedicated to certain breweries and thankfully one of those aisles is dedicated to Dogfish Head! I had not seen this book though, will have to get it! Cheers!

If this beer were a car, it'd be a 64 GTO.  This is a classic American muscle beer{#Drunk}but amazingly lagerish when you get him cold enough.  Downed one after working in the yard, last night.

Some new ones to me, the first I tried and was pleasantly surprised reminded me of a less citrusy Sucks:

And this one I have yet to try, but was captured by the art work and the association with The Flaming Lips not to mention it is my favorite brewer so I do not expect to be disappointed:

They have that at the specialty place I go to in Columbia SC and believe it or not they have other beers that cost much more than that (most are Japanese) some are over a 1000 dollars which is just plain nuts! I cannot possibly see how a beer could taste good enough to be worth that and would be curious how some of these beers would fare in a blind taste test. I suspect much of it is the scarcity and the fancy bottles, man they do have some fancy bottles on these specialty beers. Crazy.

This rare Sam Adams beer is $200 a bottle — and it's illegal in 15 states from CNBC.
