I actually prefer when others don't like the same bands that I do. I get nervous if too many people agree with my musical taste, makes me question what I am doing wrong if everyone else likes it too! You and I are very different people. :) |

I don't agree with all of them, I don't mind the Eagles and Rush and actually really like Animal Collective, but having Pearl Jam and the Peppers on the list warmed my heart. Just a list of names? No explanations, no reasons? |

But, on the other hand there are an awful lot of really great, less needy animals around that deserve a home and you want to be as sure as you can be that you can provide a great home (yes, there are other health issues that can crop up, etc.). I would never fault anyone for declining to take a dog with health issues and would never fault anyone for calling 'enough' when it is questionable that major medical expenses are in the animal's and your best interests. There is no black and white with this (or maybe there's both cus we have Dalmatians) so follow your heart. I have been very happy rescuing older dogs.
I'm sure the right one is out there waiting to find you.
it's so hard. i know he'll get a good home through the rescue, but i feel like i'm being vain or something for knowing my limitations. he'd probably be great with my cats. i just worry about the expenses.
