I didn't realize there was an official stance. Yeah, I always thought "spelunker" was pretentious but years ago I think the bias ran the other way and it stuck. NO MORE. I will call myself a caver. Unless there's whiskey. Also, I can't fit into the local radon/guano hole anymore so maybe I should stick with "spelunker."

Yeah, and speaking of pretentious, "stalactite" and "stalagmite". My caver friends always said, "sticky-down things" and "sticky-up things". {#Lol}

How often do you relocate your toilet?

Fair enough. There's a phobia where people are only able to use their own toilet and not a public restroom. That's more the sort of thing bats do.

And don't forget the bat-shit crazy US war against yourselves that was largely made possible by weaponized batshit nitrate deposits.

And further down...

The golden shower

Is it to raise their country’s sinking state;
Her load of debt to ease by frugal care,
Her trade to guard, her harass’d poor to spare?
Is it, like honest Somers, to inspire
The love of laws, and freedom’s sacred fire?
Is it, like wise Gondolphin, to sustain,
The balanc’d world, and boundless power restrain?
Or is the mighty aim of all their toil,
Only to aid the wreck, and share the spoil?
On each relation, friend, dependant, pour,
With partial wantonness, the golden shower,
And, fenc’d by strong corruption, to despise
An injur’d nation’s unavailing cries?
