Nope, I see it on the mountains in the winter time but I've yet to see it actually fall in real life.  Maybe little fairies come and just dump it up there when I am asleep!!!  {#Think}

I am a little reluctant to admit just how deep my bug ignorance is.  About 10 years ago I took the kids to Atlanta to visit a friend over Spring break.  At night, we were treated to a firefly show.  I actually thought they were a fictitious creature before I saw them there.  The trees in Disneyland are rigged with little lights that simulate the little things.  I actually thought they were a Disney invention.{#Shhh}

I just saw the first one of the year yesterday at the golf course.  When the sunflowers come up here at the house we'll be thick with them.  Little buggers love sunfowers.  This is from last year and taken from a camera phone but there are a couple of them out there.

we still have goldfinches, and tons of house finches. but I haven't seen a Bluejay all season. and last year, we found 2 of them dead in the yard.
