I wonder why you can't get bug spray with a little lidocaine/benzocaine/some-kinda-caine in it. Most people apply it AFTER they've gotten zapped, so a little itch relief would be a boon.

Speaking of which, the skeeter bites I got in Costa Rica were extra-itchy and bothered me for days. Forgot the spray one morning, BIG mistake. Fortunately I did not contract any tropical diseases. That I know of. Yet.
