Enjoyed a very rainy day, for this part of the world ... with a tiger, wolves, a lazy bear, and an intense bald eagle at ZooMontana. It was free admission day, but the rain dampened the event. We had the whole place to ourselves, or so it seemed.

MsJudi wrote:It would me, too. This is where we lived until September of last year... If you can see it, we planted bamboo all around one side of the house, so the back yard was completely encased in trees. To give a better perspective, here it is zoomed out. That's us at the end of the street. We built that house a little over 18 years ago. When we chose the lot, we were the first ones in the neighborhood and we were given our choice of lots. We specifically chose this lot because of the proximity of the forest on one side and the park on the back side. Both would remain untouched (it was in the city charter), and no development could occur in those spaces. We began to refer to it as The Magical Forest. I miss it so badly that my heart aches just to think about it. I totally feel your worry and fear. There sure is a lot of green in those google earth photos. I can imagine missing the place very much. |
