I've decided to take a tomato sabbatical this year. The soil and I could use the break and I keep forgetting to use the little bit I canned last year.

For those who do not know how to get rid of the message, bring up your task manager by hitting Ctrl + Alt + Del, once, no more than twice and wait for it to come up and then hilite Chrome or whatever browser you use and then hit end task.  It will close it out and then you may move on.

The fuckers got my Mom with this scam a few months ago even though I warned her how to handle it.  But she's 90 so she forgot.  She remembers now though.

Iffen you feel like cussing out some deserving bastid ... call 1-877-644-0364 and let er rip.

Your method is probably faster and that's what I usually do when that screen pops up, but you can also disable Javascript in the browser settings and then close that tab or window.  I usually terminate the internet connection when that happens and clear the browser cache then close and reopen the browser and re-enable Javascript.  I never tried a phone number though.
