Replace the fan motor start capacitor on one of the AC compressors. It'll only be 103 today, I don't know what the rush is about.

I guess coffee could be considered a clear liquid as long as you don't put those M&Ms in there again.

Um, it turns out that black coffee is only a clear liquid for CT's and other tests.  PET's are a tad different.  I almost got kicked when I mentioned that I had a cup of bc 2 hours earlier.  Something about it getting the stomach digestion going and possible false readings.  The doc in attendance gave me a pass though.

My sister just flew in from Dallas today and gets her PET tomorrow at the same place.  Good thing we didn't have the same day appointments.  Would'a been awkward if we were there at the same time.  My appointment was made a few months ago.  Just worked out this way.

Having a PET scan this morning for a one year check up after the last go round with my cancer.

Hopefully nothing lights up.  Fortunately black coffee is considered a clear liquid and is allowed before the scan.

It'll be 10 years this October since the initial diagnosis which was Stage IV from day one.

My how time flies.

Since the deluge has stopped, I must mow. But first I have to clean up the couple piles of crap I noticed (luckily NOT by stepping in them) yesterday. And, since Weezie never does biz in our yard ... well, you do the math.

Our beach wildflowers are coming up a little different this year. I should be seeing the larkspurs and chocolate lilies (those the lilies are up and the little flower heads have been nibbled off). The blue eyed mary is doing great, as are the small flowering woodland stars, which are already fading. Plenty of basal rosettes for the bog orchids. The false Solomon seals are almost done. All the timings are off. Weird.
