Yes, it's pretty much the BBC version of patois. So if you can understand the Queen's English...

I LOVED the first season but couldn't really get into the second and it took us for-freakin-ever to watch it. I hope the third is better.

we're rewatching it now. We timed it well... last episode of second season tonight. I liked second season alright.....
we also watched the BBC series. It was made in the 90's I guess lot's of close ups of people, on our batvs (big ass tv screen) the faces were a bit creepy.

I don't think Netflix decides.  I think it is the company that produces the movie.

Example Short 23.976

If anyone is wondering just how bad their connection is to Netflix when watching instant video this test clip shows your actual throughput and resolution. Many ISP's throttle the connection so you can't get the full 1080P. Verizon, my ISP got rated dead last for doing this in Netflix's recent ISP ratings. Even though I have a 12-15mbps connection according to this test its always throttled to just 3mbps while watching Netflix which is only good for 720P. Verizon also just raised the DSL price on me last month so I guess its time to switch to Bombast as much as I hate to.
The test clip is pretty boring but it does let you know if you are being throttled on a fast connection. Its also fun to read the comments while its playing,
