Pop's got an Entemanns strudel out of the freezer while I took my eye off him for 15 minutes and scarfed about 1/4 of it down.

 I also had hot and sour soup and salad set for his lunch,but he snuck some leftover taters in it(starch).

 Now his blood sugar is 438.

 I don't know if his usual 7 units of insulin is going to be enough.

 So once again,I get to hang by a nostril over the fiery pits of Hell while I wait to see WTF is going on.

My boss did that to me also and had a different excuse every time it wasn't on my next check. So finally I typed up my resignation and 2 weeks notice retroactive 2 weeks prior, gave it to his secretary and went back home. HR called me that afternoon and said I had the raise and claimed my boss had never even actually put me in for it until that day and because of that they couldn't make it retroactive. So I told them my resignation still stands and hung up. They called back an hout later with retroactive pay and told me my bosses boss was really pissed because he was also never told about me getting a raise and he would have had to approve it. I guess my boss got reamed out pretty good. He made promises like that to people when we were really busy and he wanted to motivate us to work harder so he finally got called out over it.

we'd finally settled on my raise here two weeks ago. I accepted, although it was less than I was asking for.

It was supposed to be in this week's pay + the retro active.

As I approved my time sheet today, I sent an email off to make sure the $$ would be there,
