Last time I flew in, went to the conference, got TOTALLY blocked by a friend, and flew out right after the conference. They time those things very closely.

Last time I flew in, went to the conference, got TOTALLY blocked by a friend, and flew out right after the conference. They time those things very closely.

But I can't imagine I'll never be out there for a longer trip. :)

Between that and the Dad whose response to my support for same-sex marriage was "you have never done anything worthwhile with your life and probably never will", I find myself in no particular rush to subject myself to that torture.

Thankfully this year's annual business meeting is in Dallas instead of Louisville.

My Mom, who cannot resist the family impulse to judge: instead of just a simple "sorry you're having dental problems, feel better soon" she has to get in her digs about how it must be my fault for not taking care of my teeth, and I should do better going forward.

To which I replied, "Duly noted. Thanks."

And they wonder why I never have plans to visit

It's no worry or liability to us. Just a PITA. I have to change payment information in several sites I subscribe to, is all.

Odd for a fraudster to rack up that much on insurance, especially at Progressive. Good thing someone caught it!
