An email from a former client and friend who finally got around to reading my first novel - and her wonderful critique of it. She wished me well on the second that's almost out, and hopes it does well.

Pretty much of todays(if they don't get rained out) baseball games are afternoon games.Last night extra inning Dodgers game almost killed me.I swear I'm going to utilize this to try to catch up on my sleep.I'm willing to stoop to cheap bourbon to make sure it gets done if necessary.I love sleeping when it's raining.The rhythm of the rain chills me out.

I'm kinda worried that my tolerance is now so low I'll have a hangover tomorrow though.

Oh well.I've survived worse. {#Lol}

My former sis-in-law from Denver (who is still like a sister to me) and her husband are coming to visit a friend in town (and me) in a couple of weeks!

The first family to visit since I've lived here.

A weekend of sun, temps in the mid-70s, the house to myself, long bike rides, and Rose Festival stuff going on in town.

When problems go away by themselves. Like the really loud ticking sound my engine was making - sounded like a sticky lifter or something. GONE.
And the way my back-up mac was freaking out - weird horizontal lines within all the windows the first restart didn't help but today it's fine.
