I love my 2015 Volt - except the center console failed on the way home from the dealer in Nov 2014. I figured it was my fault. But, two years later, it still intermittently goes black for hours, days at a time so I can't control the climate, radio, or see the backup camera.
Fortunately, I wrote an email (saved it) and got it looked at within the first month - and have saved those records.

Two years later, they've replaced the software, the screen, the whole unit, the cabling - and it's still not working.

So, I engaged the Lemon Law. And today I got a nice call that they'll give me the whole MSRP back minus 1700 miles driven/120,000 = 1.4%, to account for me using it before I complained.
I love the 2017 Volt, and so do reviewers, so I'll just apply it to a replacement.

Gotta admit, there's always two voices in my head about these things: "You deserve this. The rules say you should get what you deserve." and "Someone, somewhere, will screw you over. Don't expect anything."
That first voice is the child believing that good things could happen, and the second is the adult with experience.

Happy that it worked out right for once.

Not that I was inspired or anything, but: http://www.amazon.com/LATEST-FLAVOUR-2016-Arnotts-Espresso/dp/B01BNF68TM

Regular flavors are cheaper, but how can you resist espresso martini?  I think Bokey may hate us for this, but if that's the case then we don't have to share them.

Tim Tams are Aussie bisquits (aka cookies). with a bit of creamy chocolate between 2 crunchy layers and covered with milk chocolate. Australian comfort food - maybe the way Americans feel about Oreos. Kids will nibble off one corner and the diagonally opposite one then use it as a straw to drink their milk making it chocolatey.

So of course, companies, being all about expanding their market and gaining shelf space in the grocery stores, they keep coming up with new flavours. Normally I'm a purist and don't even like the dark chocolate ones, but darn these are good. Cracks me up that they are 'virgin espresso martini flavour' - um, wouldn't that be coffee flavour? {#Lol}

I think we have packed half a suitcase full for our trip to the USA, tomorrow.

ETA: I like my Tim-Tams frozen.

Still something out there for $336

I think I pretty much am approved, so I wish I would've just gone for it. The flight I found was even $100 cheaper than that and wasn't a red-eye (I don't do so well on those). I'll keep checking for sure, because we get Good Friday off (our company was founded by a Catholic couple long ago) and I'd love to attach that holiday to my leave. I can also fly into CVG too.

Thanks!

(EDIT: Trying to keep it in the low 200's because I also have to cough up a deposit for the birthday party venue)
