Finding (I hope) my mother's bread pudding recipe. It's in one of her cookbooks and has notations on it. I'm not sure I completely understand her notes, but I'm willing to give it a try. {#Chef}

I hope you get power soon! My poor friend who's also still out is sick and has two young girls who are also sick and her husband had to leave the country this morning. If her power isn't on soon, we're going to take our generator to her house. A lot of people are starting to get sick now, probably from exhaustion/decreased immunity. I also gave my battery operated fan to another friend today along with a bunch of D batteries, all our ice and frozen bottles of water. Another friend is on her way to get the blocks of ice I made in plastic containers. Irma has caused one of the largest natural disaster-related blackouts in U.S. history. It's going to take a reallllly long time to bounce back, especially for The Keys.

I was nervous about going to tango tonight, because I missed a week and didn't have time to practice or go to a practica (practice dance) in the last 2 weeks (workin' an extra job these days)...I even had a dream that a teacher was pointing out all kinds of things I was doing wrong.

But I went back today, and there were lots of experienced leaders standing in for the beginner class (a sub was teaching some fine-tuning on pivots and the cross step), and they said I was doing fine. Whew.

I was able to relax, move with the music, and not anticipate what the leader was going to do next.

I do so love that dance. {#Hearteyes}
