After de-weeding all day, I came inside to rest a spell and fell asleep. That's a first for me. {#Eek}

And when I woke, I had a hard time getting off the couch, and started walking like an old man.

My daughter went to the prom with her boyfriend, and I had a hard time remembering the butterflies and weird feelings that you feel when you're 17 or 18 and on the cusp of adulthood and participating in these sorts of rituals. Probably better for me to not be able to vicariously relive these kinds of experiences. It allows my hand to be fairly steady when taking pictures of the prom couple.

Remember when the sound you heard was the flip flip of the push mower, not the blasting sound of the triple blade mowers and blowers that the landscapers use?

I noticed a full size bag of BBQ potato chips will sometimes last a week in this house instead of hours.

I was saying goodbye to my friend's son Raven, and I called him Ryan. I certainly know his name, I have no idea why I did that.
