It's with a very heavy heart that I write this post. Archie passed away this morning around 5:00 AM. The team at The Animal Medical Center went above and beyond for him.

Archie was part of our family, and we will miss him guy greatly. He was a handsome, sweet, funny little cat with a very strong will, and The Cat Doctor won't be the same without him.

There is a plan in the works to honor his memory, so please stay tuned.

Our local no-kill shelter lost their roof in the storms the other day. Insurance will cover part of it, but they have a very high deductible. if anyone can help out with a donation, here's a link to the go fund me.

Their facebook post about it and has a paypal link if you prefer

Oops. I saw "rescues" in this thread title and thought it was the right place to put it...I suppose "regarding cats" is best.

The Palindrome kittens are at that adorable playing/pouncing stage, now. I love how Eve (the momma) enjoys playing with them, too. It's hard to look away and get back to work (damn it)!

I hope Christopher Moore is working characters like that into his next book as we speak, since he already covered Goths and vampire Goths.

I don't get the persistence of that myth and what with all the goths running around, you'd think they'd be super popular . Anyway, black cats are really pretty; I hope they start to become popular.
